Date- Friday, 17 Oct. 1941
As Chameleon and Locomotive are recovering from the fight with Dr. Kreiger are approached by a bum who turns out to be Dervish who they ask to go out and call the police. Instead he leaves and changes into his costume and goes into the warehouse from the front as Chameleon and Locomotive are making a large hole in the wall on the side of the building. Chameleon looks for Wraithe as he heads for the laboratory where he runs into Dervish and Catches up to Locomotive.
Green Lantern notices a fire raging on the docks and decides to check it out. At the same time he's arriving he meets up with Mr. Mentalo who is also there for the same reasons. They proceed inside and split up to check out different parts of the warehouse. Mr. Mentalo discovers the Nazi Laboratory and also finds the Crimson Nun there who he mistakes for a Nazi and attacks. Green Lantern is able to interceed before any blood is shed and they move to rescue the surviving Nazi test subjects (2 children) and evacuate the burning laboratory.
At this time Locomotive bursts through the wall of the laboratory surprising Green Lantern, Crimson Nun, and Mr. Mentalo as they are escaping the burning laboratory. They meet up and decide to talk things out outside where Crimson Nun and Green Lantern start to resecitate the two children they saved from the laboratory. Dervish and Locomotive almost duke it out but Speedster isn't able to get past Locomotive's defenses to he calls it quits. They all decide to crash the German American Bundist meeting that night and see if they can't get their hands on Dr. Kreiger again. They plan on meeting in an alleyway behind the diner in costume so they can plan their strategy for capturing Dr. Kreiger.
During the day Mr. Mentalo applies for a job at the local mental institution and uses some "Jedi" mind tricks to convince the interviewer that he is the right man for the job. Chameleon on the other hand has to deal with GA Youths in school as he has a little talk with Timmy their leader about not doing his homework. Later he catches them as they rough up a little black kid and then flee the scene before he can catch up to them. He reports this to the principle who tells him to round them up. Locomotive on the other hand has to deal with his buddy's at he rail yard threatening to strike. Green Lantern also has GA Bund problems as GA Bund recruiters are handing out flyers in the waiting room of his clinic. He asks them to leave and they move their operation to the sidewalk in front of the clinic.
Later that day behind the diner Chameleon, Locomotive, Green Lantern, Mr. Mentalo, and Dervish meet and decide that Mr. Mentalo is going to wait inside the diner and watch for Dr. Kreigers car to arrive while Chameleon, Locomotive, Speedster, and Green Lantern go inside. After Green Lanterns failed attemt at making a GA bund thug look bad in front of a lady at the registration desk, Locomotive is met by his friends who tell him that his Dad decided to come to the meeting and that he didn't look happy. He later talks to his father who tells him that they would be having a seroius talk after the meeting. Chameleon runs into Timmy's father at the meeting and they argue about Timmy's right wing, liberal mind washing homework. Timmy's father promises to rearange Chameleons face after the meeting. Mr. Mentalo signals the group that Dr. Kreigers car has arrived and Chameleon leaves the meeting hall so he can duck out into an alleyway and turn invisible. He then climbs on top of Dr. Kreigers car and clings there waiting for Dr. Kreiger to leave. During a speech by Dr. Kreiger, Locomotive loudly points out some discrepencies in what Kreiger is saying and what's going on in the war to his fathers approval but he is hushed up by the other GA Bund Members. After the meeting lets out Dr. Kreiger piles into the car with his goons and they leave for the westside while Chameleon gives the other guys directions to where the car is going.
Soon they arrive at Moes Salvage Yard and Dr. Kreiger and his goons proceed inside as Chameleon waits for back-up.
